1. Why choose Cornerstone?
Cornerstone is Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) meaning you can come in and live independently as you would in any apartment or your home, only you have all of the amenities of Cornerstone at your convenience. As your needs for living change, Cornerstone changes with you and provides the care you will need. We have licensed nurses on campus so that your children can rest assured you will be cared of.

2. Can I bring all of my belongings?
At Cornerstone, we understand how important it is to have all of your treasured belongings, you can decorate your apartment or patio home, however you see fit, it is yours and you should feel free to do with it as you please.

3. When can my family and friends visit?
At Cornerstone, your family and friends can come and visit you anytime they wish. Living at Cornerstone is just like living at home; you can come and go as you please.

4. Will I have to maintain my home or apartment?
At Cornerstone, maintenance is provided for you. You will never have to mow another lawn or unclog another drain. We have covered virtually every detail, from home maintenance to housekeeping to care giving. Having these things taken care of provides you the perfect excuse to open yourself to life’s fascinations.

At Cornerstone, you’ll be at home among luxuries reminiscent of an elegant hotel. Our staff will envelop you in warmth and welcome; they take pleasure in your happiness and caring for every detail. And, just as at a premier hotel, the professionals at Cornerstone are at your service whether you need their help or simply have a question they can answer.

6. Does Cornerstone have a schedule that I have to follow?
At Cornerstone we have many activities provided for you, but you don’t have to live by the clock here – there’s no rush. You can take time to observe, to take things in, and to reflect. Living at Cornerstone is just like living at home.

7. What is there to do at Cornerstone?
Cornerstone has many things for you to do, aside from all of the activities (click here to see activities) we provide, we also have themed dinners, seminars that keep you updated on things like Medicare and Healthcare. We select a different restaurant each month and take you out to eat. We have Bazaars in the Auditorium. There will never be a day go by at Cornerstone where there won’t be something for you to do.

8. What services are provided at Cornerstone?
Cornerstone is really its own community; there will be few reasons you ever have to leave. We have a bank, a beauty shop, barber shop, medical clinic, laundry services, restaurant style dining, housekeeping, catering, secretarial services, notary, photocopies, and faxes. We even have guest room accommodations for your out of town guests.

Our address is 4100 Moores Lane Texarkana, TX, on 43 beautifully wooded east Texas acres of land. Cornerstone is convenient to the many attractions and conveniences of Texarkana – the cultural and economic hub of the Ark-La-Tex. From the many shopping areas to wide varieties of recreational and educational opportunities, Texarkana is perfect for year-round interests. With a well-earned reputation for its health care services, the city is home to fine medical specialty facilities and hospitals.
